Our grandson has a very discerning palate for a three year old. He is a very good eater who essentially eats all foods. But, he does have his faves. One of his faves is that he loves to eat at the lobby dairy restaurant in the Dan Panorama Jerusalem.

He always orders the pasta in cream sauce. He loves to eat it and finishes a very large portion all by himself. Yesterday, we all ate there and had a great meal.

In addition to the pasta in cream sauce, we had a small pizza with onions and mushrooms and a green salad that had peas, string beans and broccoli in it. Served with an apple vinaigrette, it was a perfect salad. Our young man loved the salad dressing and ate his salad with gusto.

Meanwhile, our grand daughter who is not yet one, also loved the pasta and she shared it with the floor and anyone who came close enough! She enjoyed some cucumbers and peas from the salad (sans dressing). In fact, she made a lot of MMMMMM sounds as she fed herself and the floor.

The food was quite good, served quickly and well presented. We have eaten there a number of times, and it has always been excellent.

A manager came over and the grandson informed him that this is his Sabba’s hotel and he gets to eat there. The manager gave him a huge smile and a big thank you!

Prices are hotel moderate. The food is excellent. The hotel is on Rechov Keren Hayesod- a short walk from the Ben Yehuda mall. Kashruth is Rabbanut.
