The Abarbanel name has represented nobility for over a century. Don Isaac Abarbanel, known as the “Abarbanel” was the leader of Sephardic Jewry before the exile from Spain in 1492. Abarbanel wines are emblazoned with the coat-of-arms awarded to Don Isaac in the 15th century and have been produced by his descendants for the past 23 years. Abarbanel is bringing back its Semi-Dry Riesling, the Alsatian Riesling. Abarbanel has long been renowned for its Alsace portfolio. Abarbanel was the first kosher wine producer to bring kosher Alsatian wines to the U.S. more than 20 years ago.
