Tahini And Lemon Spaghetti

Ingredients

250 g broccoli

carrot
400 g spaghetti
180 g tahini
lemon juice, from 1 lemon
salt
pepper
1 tablespoon(s) olive oil
1 tablespoon(s) honey
2-3 basil leaves
To serve
sesame seeds
basil leaves

Place a pot with salted water over medium heat and bring it to a boil.
Cut the broccoli cut into small florets.
Grate the carrot using the large holes of a box grater
Add the pasta and boil it according to the packet’s instructions.
At the same time, add the broccoli and the carrot to boil along with the pasta.
In a bowl add the tahini, lemon juice, salt, pepper, olive oil, and one ladleful of the pasta water, and stir with a hand whisk until the mixture thickens. If the mixture is still runny, add some more pasta water.
Add the honey and mix well.
Add the basil and keep stirring.
Once the pasta boils, transfer it straight away into the bowl with the sauce and mix with a serving spoon.
Place a frying pan over medium heat and toast the sesame seeds for 3-4 minutes.
Remove the pan from the heat.
Divide the pasta among plates and serve with sesame seeds and fresh basil.
