Ingredients 1 cup dates, pitted and chopped 1 teaspoon baking soda 1 cup water 1 cup white sugar 2 cups all-purpose flour 1 cup mayonnaise 1 pinch salt ½ cup packed brown sugar ½ cup chopped walnuts ½ cup semisweet chocolate chips Directions Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
